Our Story
Originally established as the African Diversity & Inclusion Center (ADIC), VIFFA has grown into a Pan-African, women- and youth-led organization dedicated to advancing fairness, representation, and opportunity across the continent. Over the years, we have expanded our impact through community-led programs, research, advocacy, and strategic partnerships—ensuring that progress for underrepresented groups leads to progress for all.

Our Mission
Our mission is to help build a just and inclusive African society by 2030 through feminist leadership, community-driven programs, and rights-based advocacy that advance gender equality and social justice. We work to dismantle structural barriers facing women, girls, and other vulnerable groups—including those affected by violence, discrimination, or exclusion—by expanding access to opportunities, strengthening protection systems, and promoting dignity and safety in all aspects of life. Through education, leadership development, and grassroots initiatives, we empower communities with the tools and resources they need to thrive—now and for generations to come.

We envision an Africa where all women, girls, and vulnerable communities, live free from violence, discrimination, and inequality, and can participate fully and safely in social, economic, and political life.
