Dan Sobovitz is a digital adviser of the Vice President of the European Commission, a Tech4Good evangelist, and a civil society activist in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Originally from West Bank, Dan had become a peace activist in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. After completing his studies in Israel, France, the US, and Germany he settled down in Europe, advising international organisations such as EU institutions, UN bodies, OECD, among others on their communication, etc. In recent years he works mostly with the Vice President of the European Commission, as well as tech companies with a sustainable and social impact. As a young father to twins, Dan is a prominent voice about minority rights in Europe and around the world. The family recently made Berlin their home again.
He has a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University (NYC), a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance (Berlin), a BA in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies from Tel Aviv University (with a semester abroad at Sciences Po Paris).
